It's not what you do, it's how you do it.

Now that the  verdict is in, people are reacting with violence as if that is going to overturn the verdict.  How is this outrage of violence going to solve anything.  And don't you think this type of behavior is a bit uncivilized and outdated?  What message are we demonstrating.  That we  possess the same killer instinct as George Zimmerman but it's okay for us?

I've heard remarks that Zimmerman had the right to defend himself.   but he didn't have the right to take away another's right to walk down the street in his own community, to be a child or to a fair hearing as he has received.  Had he cooperated with officials when he was instructed to back off and let them handle the situation Zimmerman would not have gotten his himself in the position to have to defend himself and Trayvon Martin would be alive today.  My concern for this community that Zimmerman was appointed to and now permitted to run through again with a concealed weapon looking for another's standards that he doesn't approve of.   I don't recall anyone being questioned of Zimmerman's "block watch team" regarding his character and his prejudices/concerns of Trayvon Martin or anyone else, for that matter.  Even though he's been granted the permission to carry a concealed weapon again, I think he should be banned from that community as he may have other targets/agendas and think that if he got away with it once, he can do it again.   Furthermore, it would be an insult to the Martin family and a gross lack of respect to have to look up and see the person who took their loved one away.  It's a very unhealthy situation to live in.

I've also heard that the both of them could have "just" walked away.  However, let's keep in mind as to who the adult is and who the minor was.

In any event, the jury is in, as well, as the verdict and it is what it is.  Zimmerman was found innocent.  But I would not want to be in his shoes at all.  He has received a life sentence as he has to live with his guilt for the rest of his life.

In addition, their is a possibility for him to answer to civil charges so, please people,  let's just "STOP" this violence and nonsense before we have to regret and protest yet another senseless tragedy.  Yes, I get it that you're angry and so am I but it's not what you do, it's how you do it.
